EMPLOY PRINCE GEORGE’S TRAINING PROVIDER LIST

The Prince George’s County Workforce Development Board provides guidance and oversight to the Prince George’s County Public Workforce System, branded as the Prince George’s County American Job Center Community Network.  As a federally funded workforce development area, Prince George’s County and the American Job Center Community Network provides funding to assist Prince George’s County residents, who meet certain criteria, enroll into postsecondary skills trainings.

The Prince George’s County Local Eligible Training Provider List is a virtual tool that provides Prince George’s County job seekers access to information on all of the courses and trainings certified by the State of Maryland and the Prince George’s County Workforce Development Board. Job seekers can utilize this tool to research all local training options. The Prince George’s County Local Eligible Training Provider List is continuously updated by Employ Prince George’s to provide current and accurate information on all Prince George’s County Workforce Board and American Job Center Community Network approved training programs.

All courses must be approved by American Job Center staff PRIOR to enrolling in any course deemed eligible.

Utilize the virtual Prince George’s County Local Eligible Training Provider List (Local ETPL) to identify training programs approved by the Maryland Department of Labor, Licensing & Regulation and the Prince George’s County Local Workforce Development Board for tuition assistance from the Prince George’s County American Job Center Community Network.

The Local ETPL will help you:

  • Find training programs for in-demand occupations
  • Search by institution, occupation, or industry
  • Find training overviews, certification programs, length of trainings and expected credential at completion
