  • 9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. – Résumé Workshop – Taught by the American Legion, the résumé workshop will focus on résumé building, networking and interviewing tips.  Immediately following the workshop, volunteer career coaches will help participants develop an elevator pitch, participate in a mock interview, and create a more effective résumé.
  • 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. – Taught by the American Legion, this workshop will include tips on managing your money, creating a budget, tracking spending, paying down debts and saving for the future.  Participants will be shown how to improve their credit scores, navigate finances, deal with expenses, establish a plan for emergencies, and build a working budget.
  • 1:00 pm – 4:00 p.m. – Hiring Fair!
