PUBLIC NOTICE Request for Proposal Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) State of the Workforce Report RFP #WDB 022-09/17

The Prince George’s County Local Workforce Development Board (PGCLWDB) is seeking the services of a proven (researcher) for a comprehensive State of the Workforce Report for Prince George’s County Maryland under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA). The Statement of Work (SOW) will broadly include an analysis of the local labor force, the emerging workforce, labor demand and employment trends as further detailed in this Request for Proposal (RFP) and the recommended SOW. Through this RFP, the PGCLWDB has allocated a maximum of $30,000.00 for the contract. This contractual assignment will begin on or before December 30, 2017.

This RFP is accessible at www.princegeorgesworkforce.org, beginning Monday, November 6, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. through the submission deadline date of Wednesday, December 6, 2017, at 5:00 p.m. EST. There will be no Pre-Proposal Bidders Conference for this procurement.

Sealed proposals must be received by the Prince George’s County Economic Development Corporation-Workforce Services Division (PGCEDC-WSD) located at 1801 McCormick Drive, Suite 400, Largo, MD 20774 no later than Wednesday, December 6, 2017, at 5:00 p.m. EST.

Any and all questions will be addressed and posted to the www.princegeorgesworkforce.org as an addendum. Answers furnished during the question and answer period will not be official until the LWDB has published them in writing as an addendum to the RFP by Monday, November, 27, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. EST.

All PGCLWDB members, Prince George’s County Economic Development Corporation (PGCEDC) Board members, officers, and staff are precluded from entertaining questions concerning the completion of the proposal or the procurement process outside the confines of the parameters set in the RFP. Potential bidders are asked to respect these conditions by not making personal requests for assistance.

The PGCLWDB reserves the right to reject any part of any, and all qualifications received in response to this RFP.
